Senior Associate, Board Effectiveness

Gary is a Chartered Accountant and an alumnus of the INSEAD Advanced Management Programme. He qualified with KPMG before moving into the financial services industry, where he worked in a variety of finance-related roles in the residential housing sector, most recently as Group Finance Director of West Bromwich Building Society.

From 2010 through to 2024, Gary was Managing Director of Board Evaluation Limited and, from 2015 to 2024, a non-executive director of medical insurance company BHSF, where he was Senior Independent Director and Chairman of the Audit Committee.

He was also previously a non-executive director of Swiss private bank Banque Bonhote and a member of the Birmingham Business Group of the NSPCC.
