Client Partner (Local Government)

Peter spent 30 years working in the international energy industry before taking early retirement in 2014 to pursue other interests supporting the local community. He was an elected councillor for over 20 years, serving the residents of Kent on Southborough Town Council, Tunbridge Wells Borough Council and Kent County Council (KCC).

Peter was first elected to KCC in 2013, most recently serving as Deputy Leader and Cabinet Member for Finance, Corporate & Traded Services, where he had responsibility for the Council’s £1.6bn budget and all financial activities, governance & legal services, property & infrastructure, information technology, transformation and subsidiary companies. He was previously responsible for Children’s Services, Public Health and the Commissioning of council services.
